February 5th: Symposium promotion

November 24th: Tsukuba marathon
Takumi and Atsuma participated in a marathon and completed it!
They both took less than 3.5 hours. That's awesome!

Congratulation to Sarasa on Nat Neurosci!
We celebrated Sarasa's paper.
Top: We had a lunch with our alumni who are co-authors on her paper (Tokyo).
Bottom: We had a drinking party with lab members, together with Nagata sensei (HBP), who helped with the MATLAB analyses, and Kamiyama-san from Niwa Lab (TARA), Sarasa's colleague from the College of Biological Sciences (Tsukuba).
矢野さんの論文受理お祝い
矢野さんのNat Neurosciアクセプトのお祝いしました。
上段：矢野さんと論文共著者の卒業生の皆さん（秋山さん、窪谷さん、浅見さん）にもお声がけして東京で食事、共著者の前田さん、平木さんも参加してくれました。卒業生の皆さんがそれぞれの職場で元気に活躍している様子を伺い、嬉しく思いました。

June 14th to 16th: the Japanese Society for Matrix Biology and Medicine (Tsukuba International Congress Center)/the meeting of young investigators (WPI-IIIS, University of Tsukuba)
Takumi chaired the meeting of young investigators held the day before. Chihiro H and Chihiro M won the young investigator awards. Congrats!

武富さんが前日に開催された若手の会で座長を務めました。学術大会では、平木さんと前田さんがYoung investigator awardsを受賞しました。おめでとうございます！
